Meet The Team

Jasmine Penny

Jasmine has ten years experience in the hair & fashion industry. She started her hair career at the exclusive city salon, Head Office Hair and Body. Since then she developed her individual sense of style by always being involved with the fashion industry through photo shoots, high fashion catwalk shows and editorial styling. She has a strong involvement and the inspiration she draws from  the bands and divas she styles on and off stage contributes to her creativity.
 
In her spare time Jasmine has been involved as a hair competition judge for the International Hair Society for all the new and upcoming styles to Western Australia. Jasmine has also recently committed herself into entering the Wella Trend Vision competition and was part of Chilli Couture’s artistic team for the 2013 Artistic Team of the Year photographic collection. She is enjoying the experience while also hoping to gain more recognition in the industry. 
 
After running her own salon, Penny Quill Hair Parlour for two years, she brings a wealth of experience and is a valuable asset to the Chilli Couture team.
Chilli Couture are excited to have Jasmine and we invite you to experience her eclectic but classic style.
 
 Laura Jane Gladman
 
As Chilli Couture’s emerging artist, Laura’s career in hairdressing started at Museo, Mount Lawley in 2005 where she completed her apprenticeship. Her determination and creative talent helped her achieve the award of Runner Up Apprentice of the Year in 2008 while she was a 4th yr apprentice.
 
Since the very beginning of her career, Laura has always felt that she has the greatest job in the world. “I get to be creative, meet amazing people and my favourite part most of all is helping people feel excited about their hair and to feel good”.
 
Through travelling, Laura has found that her passion for different cultures has been a big influence in her creative styles. She also loves editorial styling and competition work, which she finds adds excitement to her work.
 
In 2012 Laura entered the Wella Trendvision competition and she found the experience so inspiring she decided to produce her first solo collection for the Australian Men’s Hairdresser of the Year for the Australian Hair Fashion Awards which will be announced 2013.  
 
Her niche is in creating short cuts for both men and women, creative colour work and anything that has an edge to it. If you feel that you need to be excited about your hair, than Laura is the perfect stylist for you. Her passion for creating and designing a style that is personalised to each client will give you the results that you have been looking for. 
 
 
Tom Jarvis
 

Chilli Couture’s latest recruit; Tom Jarvis, started hairdressing at the tender age of 15 years at Toni & Guy and fell in love immediately with the hairdressing industry. Now, 7 years on, after having worked a stint in Melbourne, Tom is permanently back in Perth  and living his dream as a boutique senior stylist. Tom’s portfolio includes working backstage at various David Jones runway shows, working on performances for Leg Avenue and assisting photo shoots for labels such as Dillettante.

Tom also is very experienced at designing hair for wedding parties and personally loves styling and blow-drying out hair for special occasions. A brilliant colourist; Tom is also inspired by matching an amazing cut to his unique colour designs and draws his inspiration from music, nature, fashion and street art.

Rachael Shaw 

Rachael is one of Perth’s leading young emerging hair artists, she started her career at Perth’s city salon Head Office Hair and Body, and then following her apprenticeship with time at Head Studio King St. Rachael’s career has already encompassed numerous award entries and fashion shows in addition to editorial styling for Perth’s magazine scene.

Rachael’s extensive expertise centres around creating beautiful long hair, she also enjoys precision men’s cutting and working with classic designs as well as contempory ‘indie’ styling. Rachael has set her sights on expanding her creative portfolio with ambitions to compete in numerous photographic awards throughout the coming few years and is excited to have that opportunity with the Chilli Couture’s creative team. Rachael is available Tuesdays to Fridays and Friday nights at Chilli Couture.

 

Alisha Reppucci

Alisha is Chilli Couture’s expert hair and eyelash extension specialist. A qualified beauty therapist, Alisha has been in the beauty industry for 3 ½ years and has had over 2 years concentrating solely on eyelash extensions and brow shaping. Alisha has also had over 1 ½ years experience in hair extension applications and Chilli Couture is very excited to have an additional professional expert in these areas.

Alisha has a passion for the hair and beauty industry and loves all aspects of fashion, beauty and styling. Alisha loves pampering her clients and spending the time to create the perfect lashes, brows and extensions.

 

Elodie Vitry

Elodie Vitry  has been in the beauty industry for 8 years. Originally from Réunion Island near the coast of Mauritius, she has spent the last five years in France working in the top beauty salons in Paris. Elodie has worked with many elite products such as Guinot, Decleor, Carita, Pevonia & Payot.

Bringing her amazing international skills to Chilli Couture Elodie specialises in quality gel nails, manicures & pedicures, all waxing services, and customised facials

Elodie is very passionate about beauty and skin and she prides herself as being a perfectionist in everything she does. Her dedication to her clients and her ability to personalise genuine skin care to each individual ensures that her clients receive only the best in all their beauty services.

Lauren Nathan

Being the first person new clients and our existing clientele deal with, Lauren takes on a huge role within the salon as salon co-ordinator. Her professional manner and understanding of the importance of customer service results in every client feeling valued and important and having a trusted point of contact within the salon. 
 
“I love my job as I enjoy working in such a creative and vibrant workplace. It is extremely rewarding when I see staff achieve goals, which I have helped to support them in achieving. I love the opportunities that have allowed me to develop my skills in a managerial position, and value the relationships and camaraderie I have with the clients of Chilli Couture.”
 
Lauren also spends one day per week solely focusing on marketing for Chilli Couture and is completing a Diploma in Marketing in which she will use within the salon.
 
With over 3 years as a salon co-ordinator, Lauren’s next challenge is to enter the Salon Manager of the Year for the Australian Hair Fashion Awards 2013. This will be the first award, which Lauren has entered and is excited for the challenge, and the recognition that it will bring.

Junior Stylist

Jillian Cotter

Jillian is one of Chilli Couture's junior stylist and colourist.  She has been in the hairdressing industry for 3 years and works along side all of our senior stylist..

Having completed many Wella Colour and styling courses Jillian's creative flair for hair and fashion leaves all her clients looking and feeling amazing.

Jillian attends weekly training at the exclusive Taylor Weir School of Hair building her skills in the hairdressing industry.

 

Samantha Abbott

Samantha is one of Chilli Couture's junior stylist and colourist. She has been in the hairdressing industry for 2 years and works along side all our senior stylist.

Samantha enjoys learning about all types of hair extensions and assists with all types of extension removal and preparation.

Her amazing skills with creating bouncy curls keeps her clients booking in again and again.

Samantha attends weekly training at the exclusive Taylor Weir School of Hair building her skills in the hairdressing industry.
